Setting up advertising in 20 minutes and 7 steps

Before moving on to the internals of Facebook, don’t forget to create a business page for the company, and then let’s get to work.

STEP 1: Choose 1 ad campaign goal out of 6

Depending on what results you want to achieve with advertising, select one of the goals:

  • Awareness – drawing attention to the brand, increasing product impressions on the network;

  • Lead generation – users will start leaving their contact details in a special form for applications inside Facebook for booking a product or service;

  • Engagement – if you want users to interact more actively with your publications or write to you in Messanger;

  • Conversion – receive purchase requests through the site or other targeted action;

  • Application installation – registration of new users within your application;

  • Traffic – get more visits to your website or social networks;

 Set different goals to see what works and what doesn’t. Next, name your campaign and click the “Set up advertising account” button;

STEP 2: Choose the placement where the user will be taken when clicking the ad

  • Website;
  • Mobile app;
  • Messenger;
  • If the goal is a subscription, bring the users to the company page;

STEP 3: Choose your target audience (extremely important)

Before setting up ads, you should find out who is your target audience? What kind of people will be interested in your product? To do this, you need to analyze competitors, analyze page subscribers and those who buy from you. The target audience is configured according to the following parameters:

  • Location;

    • Age and gender;

    • Communication language and interests;

STEP 4: Choosing a placement

STEP 7: Choose an ad format

Everything is simple here – decide in what format you would like to show your ad. It can be a news feed or a story. Remember, it’s better to resize layouts and launch them on all placements at once.

 

STEP 8: Create an ad

More than 50% of its success depends on how well an advertising creative is made. The creative should make the client want to follow the link provided.

Create an attractive text call on it. Design that your target audience would love. Make a big promise that will attract the buyer and motivate him to take the necessary action with a call to action.
